Inlow Hall is the original building of Eastern Oregon University. It originally housed all functions of the school, but over time became the Administration Building for the University. The project will include multiple funding sources including funding from the State Energy Loan Program.
Although the project will be completed as one simultaneous effort, it is essentially three combined projects. Project components include a voluntary seismic upgrade and lateral resistance bracing, an energy performance upgrade including equipment and envelope improvements, and an interior renovation of the historic building with an emphasis on improving the student experience for the Enrollment Management services housed within the building.
Early analysis of the building’s opportunities and constraints have resulted in a Renovation Master Plan. Phase One of the renovation focuses on the first floor; subsequent phases are pending funding. Once complete, the building will target LEED CI Gold level certification. |
